I kinda hate that I'm not considered "left" anymore.. in fact the modern 30 year old leftist would likely say I'm far right despite essentially landing dead center when issues are compared. That's pure insanity and we went from considering our left to be significantly less liberal than the European equivalent to being so far left of Europe in such a short window their necks got yanked hard and they immediately fell into line with the USA and the "left"'s campaign to shave down any edge and sanitize everything while making anyone right of the extreme left be made out as authoritarian lunatics...

I'm not a fearful person but othering is happening enmasse by people on the left and I find it troubling... very much so.
